Because we are visual is a young cinemaplatform that stimulates visual culture. Director Simon Patoor and Line Pillet presented a weekly showing of the Flemish fiction created by established and young directors at de Studio in Antwerp.

For the third month of Because we are Visual, we chose a daring schedule presenting films of Nicolas Provost and Vanja d’Alcantara. Shown together were projects of their starting years and more recent works. Because we are visual also received a visit from film critic Ruben Demasure. He shared his vision on the Plot Point trilogy with extra footage within the practice of Provost. Ruben Demasure is assistent teacher of the department of  Film science at the University of Antwerp and editor for the organizations, Sabzian and Photogénie.
